Heartburn after being sick

It has been couple years since the episode, but anyway heres my story.

Caught bronchitis.  Had it about a week and etc.  Week later started to devop heartburn that I hadn't experience before.  Went to the doctor to see whats wrong with me and etc.  Doctor put me on Prevacid because have tried the other PPIs in the past.  Anyway, those didn't work for me for some reason or other.  At the same time had some tests done and they revealed I had heartburn.

Have my heartburn under control ever since then.  Even though I have tried another medications because Prevacid was expensive back then.  Basically, it was prescription at that time.  Usually, was given an generic prescripiton to replace it.
