Peppermint Ice?

Another day with that nasty nagging sensation at the back of my throat, I've tried alka selzer. baking soda, malox , and milk but still no relief  from that cutting discomfort,

I got some mild relief using this recipe for peppermint ice--that's right peppermint ice.

In an ice tray prepare water, two teaspoons of confectionery sugar, and 5 drops of peppermint extract. freeze until solid suck until thoroughly dissolved and the results were good but short lived.
